This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes the data practices of Galactic Records (“Galactic,” “we,” “our,” “us,”) operated websites and/or mobile apps (“Websites” or “Apps”), including the collection, use, and sharing of data through apps that link to this privacy policy, along with the choices and rights you have to control those data practices.

Your use of Galactic-operated websites and/or mobile apps at any time indicates your acceptance of the terms of this Privacy Policy in effect at the time of such usage. 

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account, if applicable, by placing a prominent notice on our Websites, and/or by updating any privacy information on this page. Your continued use of the after such modifications will constitute your: (a) acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by that Policy.

Information We Collect:

The only personal information we collect is the information you choose to provide to us. This may include (but is not limited to) your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, PayPal order information), email address, phone number, gender, age or date of birth, clothing sizes or similar physical descriptions, account log-in information, and social media profile information if you login with a social media account (“Personal Information”). This information may be collected when you fill in forms on our Website, if applicable, creating accounts, subscribing to any service, making purchases, or posting material, as applicable. We may also ask you for information if you report a problem with our Website. This information may also include details of transactions you carry out through our Website and of the fulfillment of your orders. You may be required to provide financial information before placing an order through our Website.

Additionally, we automatically collect non-personal information from your Internet browser to determine the identity of your Internet service provider, your time zone, and the type of browser you are using. We use the Personal Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through Galactic (including processing your payment information and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). We may also share your Personal Information solely to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights. We may also use Personal Information to present our Website and its contents to you, provide you with information, products, or services that you request from us, or to fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it.

In certain situations, businesses, or third-party websites we are affiliated with may sell or provide products or services to you through or in connection with the Website (either alone or jointly with us). You can recognize when an affiliated business is associated with such a transaction or service, and we will share your Personal Information with that affiliated business only to the extent that it is related to such transaction or service. We have no control over the policies and practices of third-party websites or businesses as to privacy or anything else, so if you choose to take part in any transaction or service relating to an affiliated website or business, please review all such business' or websites' policies.

We strive to take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or alteration of your Personal Information. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your Personal Information, you acknowledge that: (a) there are security and privacy limitations inherent to the Internet which are beyond our control; and (b) security, integrity, and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between you and us through this Site cannot be guaranteed.

Updating and Deleting Personal Information:

We will retain the information we collect in accordance with applicable laws and as reasonably necessary for our processing purposes set out under this Privacy Policy, including resolution of disputes, enforcement of agreements, securing the Website or Apps, and to comply with our legal obligations. When personal data is no longer necessary for our purposes we will delete the data.

Children:

Our apps are not directed toward children (as defined by local law) nor does Galactic knowingly collect information from children (as defined by local law) without parental consent except where in compliance with applicable laws. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child (as defined by local law) without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information.

Digital Advertising:

We use third party partners to enable targeted advertising on third-party social media platforms, websites, and mobile apps. These companies collect information through our Apps to target users and serve ads. Some of these ads may be personalized, meaning that these ads are intended to be relevant to you based on information the companies collect or receive about your use of our App and third-party sites and apps over time, including through the use of cookies and other tracking technologies.

Visit the DAA Webchoices tool at www.aboutads.info to learn more about targeted advertising and how to opt out of targeted advertising by companies participating in the DAA self-regulatory program. If you delete your cookies or use a different browser or mobile device, you may need to renew your opt-out choices exercised through the DAA Webchoices tool.

To opt-out of targeted advertising in mobile apps by companies participating in the DAA’s AppChoices program, you can download that app onto your device from https://youradchoices.com/appchoices. You can also limit data collection and use by third parties for targeted advertising in your mobile device settings, where available. 

Note that electing to opt out will not stop advertising from appearing in your browser or applications. It may make the ads you see less relevant to your interests.

Galactic-operated websites and/or mobile apps may contain links to other websites. Please be aware that Galactic does not exercise control over the content, products, services or policies of third-party websites accessible through Galactic-operated websites and/or mobile apps. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave Galactic and to read the privacy policies of each and every third-party website. This Privacy Policy applies solely to the information collected by Galactic. The inclusion of a link to a third-party website on Galactic-operated websites and/or mobile apps does not imply any recommendation, approval or endorsement of such third party website by Galactic.

Emails:

If you have given us your email address, we may send you promotional email offers on behalf of other businesses or artists or email you about your use of the Website. From time to time, Galactic may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication. In order to improve our Website, we may receive a notification when you open an email from Galactic or click on a link therein.

If you would like to stop receiving marketing or promotional communications via email from Galactic, you may opt out of such communications by clicking the UNSUBSCRIBE button in the footer of the email, if applicable.
